It has been said that “some people live a life of 90 years, but that most people live one year ninety times.”

So what does this mean?

The difference is that those who are living their fullest lives are living their dreams.

We have been trained as human beings to look at the circumstances in our life to determine what’s possible. We look from our past experiences, for what we think we can, or can’t do.  And we let the current conditions in our lives dictate what we think is possible. It’s how we’re wired.

As human beings, we experience our lives through the filter of our five senses: seeing, hearing, touching, tasting and smelling. It’s how we navigate our environment. It’s like the RAM on our computers. It’s our random access memory. And like the desktop on our computers, it’s limited. And our thinking capacity can be limiting when viewed with just the five senses.

When we learn to live more outside of our standard senses and we integrate more other gifts we’ve been given, our mental faculties such as intuition, imagination, and perception to name a few, it’s like having access to the Infinite. We tap into more of our ability to see more clearly, what our heart’s desire is telling us, we begin to live from what we would love instead of what we think we can do.

I believe that we all have this upward pull within us and that we are innately wired for wanting to become more in our lives, no matter how much success we have had in our lives, we are always wanting to experience more, it’s the most natural thing to want more. It’s life seeking to express itself, by means of you, and me, and it speaks to us in our longings, our dreams for more life!

So, how do we answer the call for more life?

It’s a two-step process. First, is to release condition-based thinking, what your physical fives senses may be telling you. For example: If you find yourself in a very real circumstance of a possible loss of a job, all of your physical senses are triggered and focused on the circumstance of what might happen, and it may be very real. It might the potential loss of a job, or separation or a divorce or a health challenge. And…

The second part of the process is, in the face of the current circumstance or conditions, is to know that there are there is a part of you that is greater than the circumstances you may be facing. We’re not denying the facts, but to begin to bring your attention to, and focus on what could be possible here.

This may be the moment for you to make your move, to listen to that part of you that has been wanting to start your own business or to listen to that part of you that’s been wanting to create something bigger than what you’re currently doing.

Each of us is the author of our own thoughts, and what we are experiencing.  The past or the present does not need to dictate your future.  Allow yourself to explore the possibilities of your dreams, and fill your mind with what you would love.

What has been speaking to you in would you love for this next phase of your life?
