Hi Christine,

I’m always worried that I’ not doing enough. I see other succeeding, and I often feel like I have missed out, and that all the opportunity are passing me by.

How do stop feeling so worried all the time.

This Week’s Answer:

The Truth is…

We all have characteristics or traits we want to change, improve or even eliminate. We also tend to spend an exorbitant amount focusing on what’s wrong, what we don’t have, and what we want to improve.

And all this leaves us feeling deflated, disempowered, incapable, and helpless if you let it.

So how to flip on the Confidence switch…

First, it’s important that you know that our mind is wired to look for what’s missing – it thinks it’s keeping you safe.

It files away all the things you ARE doing, in the subconscious, to free up space for new incoming information.

There is a law of mind that says’ WHAT GET’S CELEBRATED IN THE MIND GET’S REPEATED.

Think about it… That’s why we celebrate our kids for a job well done, no matter how small it appears. Your subconscious mind doesn’t know big from small.

Here’s the mind hack:

When you caught yourself focusing on what everyone else is doing…

Write down 3 things that you HAVE done from the day.

Even if it appears to be small…  bring your attention and appreciate those things you ARE doing.

Really give yourself kudos for the steps you are taking.

Repattern the self-talk by saying things like – “Good job!” I’m proud of you.” A mantra that I like to say from Abraham-Hicks is… “Things are always working out for me.”

Your subconscious mind is your emotional level of mind… so emotionalize it. Repeat your mantra until you begin to feel it.

Confidence is like a muscle that needs to be work.
